2011 Social Media Summit – Chicago

-- for non-technical small businesses --

After five years of giving keynote presentations and a few workshops on social media and web marketing, it’s now time to offer a select group of small businesses what you have most requested:

2 full days in an interactive learning environment – working hands on with me and your peers to build the essential structure that will get your social media working for you 24/7.

On September 29th and 30th I’ll be hosting a Social Media Summit here in Chicago to help small businesses like yours to fully develop the necessary foundational structure for building your social media strategyas well giving you direct experience with the most reliable tools and best practices for getting results with it.

You will learn:

  • How to write headlines and copy that gets your content ranked highly by Google.
  • Why a content marketing strategy is essential for encouraging social media engagement – and how to build yours.
  • How to convert social engagement into referrals and new business.
  • Why you want to get your business ready for mobile marketing – and how to get started now.
  • The most effective social media tools that will save you time and amplify your message.

And a whole lot more – SEO, linking strategies, working with video, Facebook pages, etc. – we’ll cover it all.

Since this is my first event of this kind, I’m intentionally offering special pricing and limiting participation to 18.

The Social Media Summit will be September 29th and 30th at the recently renovated O’Hare Marriott Courtyard.  The price of $497 includes breakfast, lunch, and all materials. The discounted room rate of $129 also includes free Wi-Fi.

There will be plenty of time to get your questions answered regarding your business – while also learning with peers who share many of the same challenges and opportunities.

You can bring your laptop but it’s not necessary.

Can you afford to wait any longer?

As you know, the Web is now central to business – and its going social. According to a recent study by the Pew Research Center 65% of all adults online are also using social networking to freely share their recommendations about businesses like yours.

That’s why you need to be there too – engaging with your prospects and customers.

If you have seen me present before you know that I have a skill for simplifying how social media and the technology associated with it works – so that you can then apply your 10, 20, 30 or more years of business experience to getting results with it.

Are you ready to monetize your social media marketing?
